Elderly man found dead

A 62-year-old man was found dead under suspicious circumstances in Islampura on Tuesday.

The victim identified as Imtiaz had been living in a private hostel in Krishan Nagar after a dispute with his family. He was reportedly suffering from diabetes. On the day of the incident, his body was recovered from his room.

A police team reached the spot, shifted the body to a morgue for autopsy, collected forensic evidences from the crime scene and recorded statements of the eyewitnesses. Police officials said that the autopsy would help ascertain the exact cause of death.
