Child allegedly molested by neighbour

The police have registered a case and started investigations

RAWALPINDI:

The police on Monday booked an alleged paedophile on charges of molesting a minor girl and threatening her of dire consequences.

A distraught mother informed the Cantt Police that she was giving bath to her five-year-old daughter when she abruptly burst out in tears. Upon asking, the minor told the mother about pain in her genitals. On further questioning the child told her mother that one of their neighbours, Shahzaib, had taken her away by force inside a rickshaw, slapped her and molested.
