Nine injured in clash
At least nine persons including two women were injured in a clash that erupted due to parking of a vehicle outside a marriage hall in North Cantonment area.
Marriage ceremonies of two families were being held in the marriage hall. A row occurred reportedly due to the parking of a car between the parties. Abdul Rehman group resorted to firing. Resultantly, at least nine people were injured.
The injured were identified as Mauna Zark Abbass Bukhari, Ajmal, Anjum, Hussain Naqvi and others. They have been admitted to a hospital for treatment.
On information, a police team including area SHO and DSP also reached the spot. They brought the situation under control, collected forensic evidence from the scene and also recorded statements of witnesses. The suspects fled from the scene.
Police said they were investigating the matter further.
