
Punjab Senior Minister Abdul Aleem Khan has directed the authorities to ensure integrated planning with related agencies to successfully pursue development work, particularly before the construction of roads, so that all related issues are settled at once.
The senior minister said this while presiding over a review meeting of developmental works in different areas of theNA-129, PP-157 and PP-158 constituencies on Sunday.
Speaking on the occasion he said that tenders for Zarar Shaheed Road in Lahore Cantt have been approved.
“It would be constructed at a cost of Rs165 million, while Baja Line Road will be completed at a cost of Rs5.5 million,” he said.
Moreover, the provincial minister revealed that a grant of Rs100 million would be spent in PP-158 and Rs42.5 million have been allocated for development schemes in PP-157.
“An additional grant of Rs52.5 million will be spent in NA-129 to resolve civic issues,” Aleem added.
Referring to the priority given by the government, he stated that sewerage and road carpeting works in different areas of NA-129 are being carried out.
