Excise police arrest suspect, seize drugs

Excise department officials claimed on Sunday to have arrested a suspected drug dealers and confiscated 18 kilogrammes of drugs and a motorcycle, which they said was being used for criminal activities and bore registration number KLU-7620, from his possession. The arrest was made during a raid in Sikandarabad, Keamari. While the officials managed to arrest Muhammad Usman during the raid, an accomplice of his fled. A case has been registered against the arrested person and an investigation had been launched against him. Sindh Excise and Taxation and Narcotics Control Minister Mukesh Kumar Chawla and has lauded the efforts of excise department officials.
