KARACHI:

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) MPA Khurram Sher Zaman demanded on Saturday the resignations of Sindh government ministers in light of the comments made by the Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) about the provincial government’s performance.

In a statement, the PTI leader said, “The CJP’s remarks are the biggest proof of the Sindh government’s failure, and provincial cabinet [members] should now hand in their resignations.”

Besides, Zaman added, the provincial government was obliged to give answers to questions raised on its performance by the CJP.

He maintained that the Sindh government had been unwilling to work on the province’s progress without the court’s intervention, stating, “The stories of its failures and incompetence were known to the entire world.”

Zaman said the provincial government had failed to complete a single project over the past 12 years.
