Two unidentified armed men barged into a medical store in Dabgari Gardens of Peshawar late on Wednesday and shot its owner in cold blood and fled.
According to the police, the brother of the deceased said that 61-year-old Meraj Ahmed, had been facing threats for his faith as he belonged to the Ahmadiyya community. They had even lodged a complaint with the cybercrime wing of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) for a hate campaign but little progress was made on it. Police said they have registered an FIR against the unidentified assailants and launched an investigation.
