LAHORE:

Punjab Assembly Secretary Muhammad Khan Bhatti has said the nation would leave no stone unturned in laying down sacrifices for the country’s progress and stability and efforts must be made to put the country on the right track.

He said this on a flag hoisting ceremony held at Punjab Assembly premises. People from different walks of life, children, the assembly staffers and security officials were present at the occasion.

“Kashmiris our part and we will stand with them at any front for their independence and sovereignty, the PA secretary Khan further added.

He said everyone would have to render their role for the country’s progress and to put it on its right track by following Quaid-i-Azam’s golden principles faith, unity and discipline. “Today is the day of renewal of commitment and we will not let waste the sacrifices of our elders and heroes in creating Pakistan,” he said.

“There is the only way to reach the destination if we evaluate our weaknesses and failures, teach a lesson from past and avoid repeating failures in future if we want to see Pakistan on the path of progress.”

Bhatti said Pakistan was a rich country with its different resources so we should make it stronger by taking its benefit.

“We will foil every conspiracy hatched by our enemies to derail Pakistan with our unity,” he remarked.

“We need to avoid repeating failures of the past if we want to be successful. We will have to promote brotherhood and work in the light of principles of Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah,” Bhatti said.
