Abida Parveen, Humayun Saeed among others honoured with Civil Awards
Resham, Zeba Shehnaz, Bushra Ansari and Talat Hussain also make it to the list

On the occasion of Independence Day, August 14, 2020, the President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan has been pleased to confer the following ‘Pakistan CivilAwards’ on citizens of Pakistan as well as Foreign Nationals for showing excellence and courage in their respective fields.
Legendary singer Abida Parveen has been conferred with Nishan-e-Imtiaz. Veteran actors Bushra Ansari and Talat Hussain have been awarded Sitar-i-Imtiaz. Resham, Humayun Saeed, Sakina Samo, Ali Zafar, Sarmad Sehbai will be honoured with Pride of Performance whereas Zeba Shehnaz will be given Tamgha-e-Imtiaz.
