Woman killed, two others injured

A woman was killed and two others were injured in separate incidents in the city on Thursday. A man and a woman were severely injured when a speeding vehicle struck their motorcycle near Naval Gate in Baldia Town. The injured were shifted to Dr Ruth Pfau Civil Hospital, where the woman, 23-year-old Ayesha, succumbed to her injuries. The injured was identified as 25-year-old Zameer. Meanwhile, a youngster was shifted to Dr Ruth Pfau Civil Hospital after a tree fell on him near the Passport Office in Saddar due to strong winds. The injured, whose identity could not be ascertained immediately, was said to be in critical condition.
