Woman, two minors raped in Faisalabad

At least three separate incidents of abuse were reported in police stations of Faisalabad district in which a woman and two children were victimized by the perpetrators.

In the first incident, Muhammad Saeed, a resident of Muzaffar Colony area in Samanabad, went to attend someone’s wedding when his close relative Dilbar came to his house as a guest. He found Saeed's daughter alone in the house, taking advantage of the situation he raped her and fled the premises. Police is searching for the accused after case registration.

In the second unfortunate incident, a 12-year-old boy was lured into the nearby fields by Akram where he raped him.

The minor had been employed in a farm located in 71 JB Sarlian area. Thikriwala Police have registered a case against the accused and are conducting raids to arrest him.

Moreover, Millat Town Police registered a case against Jamil, the man who raped a minor boy after abducting him. Reportedly, the boy was playing outside his house in 202 RB in Millat Town area when the perpetrator grabbed the victim and took him to a graveyard and raped him.

Citizens are wary that the authorities have failed to curb incidents of abduction and rape in the district and have demanded for stricter and swifter action against the culprits.
