Justice (retd) Aslam remembered
A condolence and bereavement reference to commemorate and cherish the memories of the late Justice (retd) Sardar Muhammad Aslam was held in the auditorium of Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) Hostel on Monday. Occasion was attended by Justice Umar Atta Bandial, Justice Mazahir Ali Akbar Naqvi, Justice Athar Minallah, Justice Miangul Hassan Aurangzab, Justice Fayyaz Ahmed Jandran and Justice Lubna Pervez. Honourable Acting Chief Justice Azad Jammu and Kashmir Justice Raja Saeed Akram also graced the occasion. Apart from judiciary the memorial ceremony was also attended by senior and renowned lawyers of Supreme Court of Pakistan and SCBA members including Zamir Hussain, Munir Ahmed Paracha and several others. Amongst the guests were also present Rafique Rajwana former Governor Punjab Raja Zafarul Haq former opposition leader and incumbent Member Senate of Pakistan and Abdul Shakoor Paracha former Secretary Law. Members Pakistan Bar Council and former president and secretaries of SCBA also addressed the occasion and talked their heart. While addressing the occasion, speakers termed the passing away of Justice (Retd) Sardar Muhamamd Aslam a huge loss for legal fraternity but also to the humanity.
