Man found dead in mall toilet

An unidentified 45-year-old man was found dead in the toilet of a mall in Bhatta Chowk area in the wee hours of Monday. A passer-by spotted the body and informed police. A police team reached the spot on information and moved the body to a morgue for autopsy. They also collected forensic evidence from the incident site and recorded statements of witnesses. The victim’s identity could not be ascertained nor the cause of his death as the body had no visible marks of torture. His corpse has been moved to the morgue for an autopsy. Police said that the autopsy report, further investigations and his identification would help reveal the cause of his death.
