Hina Dilpazeer opens up about her divorce
Veteran actor Hina Dilpazeer in a recent interview with Iffat Omar shed light on a lot of her personal struggles. This included her marriage in the early 90s that ended in divorce after a short while. Bearing no ill against her ex-husband, Dilpazer noted that she married at a really young age.
" Yes, it was my own choice. He was a good looking man by even today's standards. At that age you tend to value a person's looks over everything else," she said. However, the Bulbulay star stressed that this wasn't the only positive thing about him."He was a good-hearted man. I am pretty sure he is still a good-hearted man. I just feel that at the time he wasn't strong enough to fully recognise and understand himself. I hope that by now he has completed his self discovery journey," Dilpazer said.
On what conflicts led to the end of her marriage, Dilpazer shrugged noting that she herself doesn't know. According to the actor, throughout her life, she hasn't had a conflict with anyone on a personal level. " In my life, the only conflicts that happened from my side have been ideological. On a personal level, others may have had issues with me but I haven't," she said.
When pressed on by Iffat if the husband had gotten insecure, Dilpazer negated the notion. " Nothing like that happened. It just ended. As I recall, he got angry one day and out of anger divorced me," Dilpazer exclaimed. On if her ex ever regretted the decision, Dilpazer chuckled and said," this you need to ask him not me."
Dilpazer noted that she doesn't have any regrets and believes that everything eventually turned out well. " Everything has happened for the ultimate good. There is a destiny, "she said. " When two people start home, the utmost priority is that the union sustains. It didn't turn out that way, but I don't have any complaints. The biggest thing is that with whomever you've spent some time with. When you don't remember a beautiful instance with that someone, then there are no complaints. I don't recall any such time and it isn't because of bitterness. It's just the way it is."
She further went on to wish him all the best. " In the story of my life, that character was supposed to enter, play the role and leave. I think he played his character very well. I wish him all the best."
