"Wasu and I met the CM today and Wasu informed him that he has sold the land,I had bought for him and requested CM to give him a house. Jam Kamal Khan assured that he will do his best to help him. We also discussed education reforms in Balochistan," Roy revealed in a tweet.

Additionally, Roy revealed that he had been in constant touch with Khan for the past decade with the exception of the period in which the former's family contracted coronavirus.

"Last ten years I was constantly in touch with Wasu until my whole family got Corona," he said. Adding on, Roy revealed that after speaking to Khan, the latter noted that he didn't want to trouble the singer. " He did not call me, he said he didn't want to trouble me more and wanted help from the government. So I have come to Quetta to meet him. He asked me to take him to the CM," Roy tweeted while posting a video of Khan in which he disscussed his cricumstances.

In the video, Khan revealed that Roy had bought him a house that the family had to sell-off. Then his son was offered a job that he had to quit after falling ill. Since then, Khan revealed that he and his family are under duress.
