Extortionists nabbed

Shera Kot police arrested a suspect involved in extortion along with his accomplice on Saturday.

The alleged extortionist had been identified as Zubair alias Zubairi. Police said the suspect was arrested after a raid by a special police team. He was wanted in several FIRs of different nature of crimes in the jurisdiction of Sherakot police station. Zubair’s accomplice Haroon alias Billa had also been arrested. Police also seized two illegal weapons including a 30-bore pistol from the accused’s custody.

A case had been registered against the suspects. Police officials added that they were investigating the matter further.
