COMSTECH, UOL to offer fellowships
COMSTECH, in collaboration with the University of Lahore, has announced 10 research fellowships, 15 training and sponsorship for a training workshop for individuals from least developed member states in Asia and Africa for the Indus-Nile forum for academic management for OIC.
This was decided in a meeting held at COMSTECH between its coordinator general Professor Dr Iqbal Choudhary and University of Lahore Board Chairman Awais Raoof.
The scholarships have been offered in the health and education sectors.
During the meeting, avenues of collaborative efforts between the two institutions were discussed with the idea to foster mutual collaboration.
It was also agreed to undertake collaborative efforts to enhance cooperation amongst OIC countries in the areas of science, technology, health and higher education.
