The civil society on Wednesday organised a motorcycle rally in Gwadar as they chanted slogans in support of Kashmiris.
Citizens were seen participating in the rally carrying Pakistani flags and placards inscribed with slogans in solidarity with Kashmiri people. Addressing the rally, social activist Mir Arshad Kalmati said that Pakistanis from Gilgit to Gwadar are with Kashmiris and they should not consider themselves alone, “We urge the United Nations to take immediate notice over atrocities and barbarism being committed against innocent Kashmiries by timid Indian forces,” he added. “The atmosphere in Gwadar resounded with anti-India slogans to express solidarity with Kashmiris on the completion of one year of exploitation in the valley.”
The motorcycle rally started from Sirat-ul-Nabi Chowk and ended at Gwadar Press Club. Despite the scorching heat, rally participants stood in the scorching sun, chanting slogans against India and expressing solidarity with their Kashmiri brothers. They urged the United Nations Security Council to intervene in the matter on an immediate basis and give Kashmiris their due rights.
