RAWALPINDI:

Owners of constructed and under-construction houses and markets in the garrison city have been warned that strict action will be taken against them if they show negligence during indoor and outdoor surveillance under the anti-dengue campaign.

The warning was issued by Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) Director-General Ammara Khan on Tuesday while chairing a meeting to review surveillance activities as part of their anti-dengue efforts.

She said that strict action should be taken against the owners of under-construction and constructed homes and markets in the city that are showing negligence during indoor and outdoor surveillance under the anti-dengue campaign.

The RDA director-general further ordered that timely precautionary measures should be taken daily. She also directed to seal homes, shops and other buildings under RDA and impose fines on owners of homes who are not following dengue operating procedure (SOP).
