Mithadar Police claimed on Tuesday to have arrested two robbers, who turned out to be a serving and former cop, in injured condition after an encounter.
According to Mithadar Police Station SHO Rizwan Patel, among the arrested, Faheem has been serving in Madina Colony investigation police, while Yaqoob has been dismissed from service. He said that weapons and a motorcycle were found in their possession and the motorcycle belonged to Faheem. The arrested men were shifted to Dr Ruth Phau Civil Hospital for treatment.
