Man strangulated in Shahdara

A 35-year-old man was strangled to death on Monday in Shahdara area. The victim has been identified as Farhan Mehmood. The victim lived with his physically challenged father. Two unidentified suspects barged into the house and choked him to death after a brief altercation. A police team reached the spot on information and moved the body to the morgue for autopsy. They also collected forensic evidence from the crime scene and recorded statements of the witnesses. Initial investigations suggest that the victim was murdered over a financial dispute. Police are investigating the matter further.
