Life truly begins at the end of your comfort zone

“Life begins at the end of your comfort zone” we’ve all heard this famous saying but many of us don’t understand the depth and intensity of it.

You unlearn and learn a lot of patterns and you’re willing to take up on challenges with a healthier approach which often means you’re ready to step outside your comfort zone. Whenever we are faced with a difficult situation, we are either pushed or forced outside our comfort zone. But when we are willing to accept stepping outside our comfort zone, wonderful things start to happen. There is an explanation behind why we prefer staying in comfort and routine. Human beings like sense of security and predictability which increases sense of calm, happiness, and safety. There is little to zero risk or fear. It’s easy to see how our comfort zone becomes a big part of who we are. Whether its work, business or personal life. It’s a state-of-mind where we feel safe and in control.

When you step into the unknown there is a lot of fear, confusion and risk. But once you learn to overcome all this there lies greatness. Letting go of the idea to seek perfection means you’re willing to give up the power and learn to accept things for what they are. That does not mean you’re giving up, you’re simply accepting things how they are, it not only comes with experience but it also helps take away the stress and pressure and helps you think and make decisions rationally.

Change is inevitable. Sometimes we see the change coming often times we are caught in a situation where we are forced to step outside our comfort zone no matter how much we desire to stay in it. Change can take any shape or form, loss of a loved ones, relationship status, work, health etc etc. If you’re someone who has stepped outside the predictable and have the courage to accept change and take the required actions needed to accept that change then you are well on your way to face whatever life throws at you.

We often start trusting and believing our self when we don’t rely on others and are able to succeed at something new and challenging.
