In Punjab, three people died while seven people collapsed due to rising heat in Chichawatni. Temperature in cities like Multan, Lahore and Islamabad ranged from 44 to 48 degrees.
In Peshawar, four people drowned and two went missing while cooling off in Barra Canal.
In Sindh, the temperature touched 51 degrees in Larkana. Other districts including Pannu Aaqil, Rohri, Ghotki, Fiaz Gunj and Hyderabad are also sweltering.
In Balochistan, the maximum temperature was recorded at 49 degrees in Sibi, while the weather was severely hot in Jafarabad, Nasirabad and Jhal Magsi.
According to the met office, the heat wave is expected to continue until the end of the month.
