Rawalpindi CPO makes surprise visits to police stations, pickets
The Rawalpindi City Police Officer Ahsan Younus on Thursday night paid a surprise visit to several police stations and pickets, where he instructed police officers and field staff to perform their duties diligently. He visited the Newtown and Rawat, Saddar Bairooni and Naseerabad police stations and inspected the officers on night duty, and those on patrol duty. He checked the records and instructed officials to take effective measures to facilitate the public. Similarly, CPO Younus visited police pickets and directed officers to protect the life and property of citizens while conducting checks while also ensuring their own safety. Take precautionary measures to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) and government standard operating procedures must be implemented, he directed.
