Minister says govt will fulfill all promises made during elections

Punjab Senior Minister Abdul Aleem Khan on Friday said the country was on the path of rapid development and prosperity with significant improvement in the stock market and other major achievements in the tax collection target.

He said Prime Minister Imran Khan undertaking serious measures for the development of the country and that, despite coronavirus pandemic, he had been able to rescue the nation from a difficult scenario.

Abdul Aleem Khan said the record of the first month of the new financial year was a clear sign of significant improvement and tax collection of Rs57 billion in July alone is great performance.

“Significant progress is also being made in the construction sector as 40 industries related to the sector were being developed, which would accelerate the uplift of the economy, provide employment opportunities to the people and stabilize the situation in the country,” he pointed out.

The minister also remarked that Imran Khan envisions to make Pakistan the best possible place for which long-lasting and stable policies would be implemented across the board.

“Next three years would lead the country towards clear development and improvement,” he claimed adding that the present government would meet the expectations of the people by fulfilling the promises made during the general election.
