Fake medicines found at JIMS

A drug inspector seized 1,232 packets of fake medicines

HYDERABAD:

Fake medicines were found from the Jacobabad Institute of Medical Sciences (JIMS) during a drug inspection by the Sindh Health Department on Thursday. A drug inspector seized 1,232 packets of fake medicines from the institute, which is operated by the provincial health department. JIMS director and store in-charge are to be booked in an FIR pertaining to the matter. The hospital, meanwhile, claimed the medicines were purchased as per the approved list issued by the Sindh Health Department.
