
The SITE Super Highway police arrested 10 suspects during separate raids on Thursday. Abdul Sattar, Ghulam Bashir, Zulfiqar Gul Hazir, and Amjad Ali were apprehended for their alleged involvement in various street crimes, with Rs8.3 million in cash and weapons seized from their possession. A case has been registered against them under Sections 397 and 23-A of the Pakistan Penal Code, pertaining to robberies. In another raid, the SITE Super Highway police nabbed a drug peddler, Syed Ali Shah, and confiscated one kilogramme of hashish from his possession. Separately, four suspects Abdul Samad, Samiullah Abdul Jabbar, Ziauddin, and Samiullah Muhammad Bux were arrested and 900 litres of smuggled Iranian diesel confiscated from them. The police took two trucks into custody and registered a case against the accused under Sections 285, 286 and 34 of the Pakistan Penal Code.
