At least 10 people killed in shooting on a funeral procession in Charagai

At least 10 people were killed when two groups opened fire on each other during funeral prayers in Charagai, according to district police official Lower Dir District.

According to the police, there was a forest land dispute between the two parties. The two groups opened fire as soon as they came face-to-face at a funeral.

A heavy contingent of police arrived at the scene and cordoned off the area after the incident, while further investigations into the incident are underway.
