Child killed in hit-and-run

A toddler was killed and her parents injured when a speeding passenger coach ran over their motorcycle in Steel Town on Tuesday night. The deceased and injured were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medico-legal formalities and treatment, respectively. The deceased was identified as two-year-old Heema, while her parents were identified as Raja and Ganga. According to the police, the coach driver fled from the scene after the incident, while the police had impounded the vehicle and launched a search for him.
