CDA to hand over 52 Park Enclave-I plots after Eid
The apex civic authority of the federal capital on Wednesday said that it will hand over some 52 plots to the remaining allottees of Park Enclave-I after the Eidul Azha holidays.
In a meeting at its headquarters on Wednesday, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) said that work on the project is almost complete, including groundwork and provision of civic amenities.
Further, CDA Chairman Aamer Ali Ahmed has decided to improve the aesthetics and horticulture in Park Enclave-I, for which CDA has directed the relevant departments to launch a plantation drive in the housing scheme. Officials said that directions have also been issued to carry out cleanliness and maintenance work in the enclave.
The authority added that apart from handing over possession of the remaining plots, they want to elevate the project as a model housing project for the city.
Moreover, CDA has decided to contact the Foreign Office Affairs to approach the Embassy of Morocco after it had expressed the desire to build a mosque in Park Enclave-I as a goodwill gesture. The authority said that in the event there is a delay from Morocco, CDA will build the mosque on its own.
Moreover, the authority said that it is now focusing on the development of Park Enclave-II. For this purpose, it has to hire a consultant to build the enclave as a modern housing project containing all facilities with a contemporary layout plan.
Park Enclave-I was launched back in 2011. Successive administrations of CDA had overlooked its development, however, it has now decided to expeditiously complete development work on the enclave and expand the project.
Once development work on Park Enclave-I is complete, work will start on its second phase. The third phase of the project is being planned exclusively for middle and lower-income groups.
