AI, IoT exhibition on August 4
With the world moving to adopt emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence and connected devices, the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation’s Standing Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation (COMSTECH) will host a showcase on these technologies in Islamabad next week. This was disclosed by COMSTECH’s Coordinator-General Professor Dr M Iqbal Choudhary on Tuesday during a news conference. He added that they are being supported by the CARE (Pvt) Ltd., Ministry of Science and Technology and the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunications. The first COMSTECH “Showcase of Artificial Intelligence and IoT Products and Services: AI and IoT for Pakistan, aims to foster an interest in science, technology, and innovation and to popularise the field of artificial intelligence amongst the youth of Pakistan, stimulating their interest in the sphere of innovation, and in high-tech areas of technology, Dr Choudhary said. This national exhibition, he said, will provide a platform for innovators, technology developers, and service providers to share experience and professional skills with end-users.
