10 held in crackdown against drug peddlers

At least 10 people were arrested in the federal capital as part of a crackdown against drug pushers and other criminal elements in the city, police said on Tuesday. The official said that the Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) of the police arrested Faisal Masih and Asif and recovered 1.2 kilogrammes of hashish and 313 bottles of wine were recovered from their possession respectively.

Separately, the Golra police arrested Jawad and recovered a 30 bore pistol from him.

The Bhara Kahu police arrested Amanullah and recovered 230 grammes of hashish from him. The homicide unit of Islamabad police recovered a 9mm pistol from Abdullah.
