Man attacks daughter with knife

A woman sustained injuries after her father attacked her with a knife over her love marriage. She was shifted to Allied Hospital on Tuesday.

The woman was allegedly attacked because she married a man named Waseem for love a year back. The victim Saba, daughter of Shafiq, son of Siddique, resident of Ghulam Muhammad No 2 is mother to a one-month-old daughter. The Nishatabad police reached the site and arrested Siddique, seizing the weapon from his possession, and lodged a case against the suspect on the statement of his son-in-law Waseem.
