50-year-old woman commits suicide
A 50-year-old woman committed suicide for unknown reasons by jumping off the Jhal underpass on Tuesday.
The police, after completing the medico-legal formalities, shifted the body to a hospital and began a search for the family of the deceased.
Rubi Bibi, a resident of Sahiwal, jumped off Jhal Chowk Abu Anis underpass located within the jurisdiction of Batala police station and suffered severe leg and head injuries.
A Rescue 1122 team shifted the critically injured woman to Civil Hospital after initial medical treatment, where she passed away after some time.
Woman commits suicide with two daughters
Chowki Tariqbad police after reaching the site took the body into custody and shifted it to the mortuary of the Allied Hospital.
According to ASI Mohsin Haral of Tariqabad police station, nothing could be learnt about the victim’s family or the reason of the suicide till the evening.
Peoples Colony police are investigating the matter further.
