Woman accused of killing father
A woman has been accused along with her mother, cousin and his friend of murdering her father. The suspect identified as Saira wanted to marry her cousin Moazzam. However, her father Arshad was against the marriage. She allegedly hatched a plan to murder him and included her mother to support her in executing the plan. She stole her father’s pistol and handed it over to her cousin, who then shot dead the victim near his house. The family tried to concoct the killing as murder while resisting robbery and also staged protests to mislead the police. Kot Lakhpat investigations police included the family members in the investigations over suspicion of their involvement and resultantly solved the case. Moazzam, his friend, Irfan, and the accused mother and daughter were arrested in the murder case.
