Sports activities may resume after Eid in K-P

Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) Sports Director General Asfandyar Khan on Saturday said that the provincial government has drafted a set of standard operating procedures (SOPs) which have been sent to the federal government for approval to resume suspended sports activities across the province after Eidul Azha.

Speaking to the media, the sports director-general hoped that sports activities under proper SOPs will resume after approval from the federal cabinet. Sports events, training in the province were postponed due to the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak in March this year. He said training of the players would be started under their respective coaches. Players will fully comply with the SOPs.
