Students failing 40% exams promoted
Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) has decided to pass all former and private candidates who failed in 40 per cent of subjects for their annual secondary school certificate (SSC) - matriculation examinations. A notification issued by the federal board on Saturday said that all such students who have failed in 40 per cent of subjects will be promoted to the next grade. However, this policy will only apply to the ex and private candidates of the FBISE. The board added that revised results of all such candidates will be announced soon. Earlier, the board did not pass ex and private candidates when announcing results for the annual SSC part-II 2020 examinations.
