Police nab nine with drugs, weapons

Police have arrested nine suspected criminals, including a proclaimed offender, and seized narcotics and weapons from their possession. The Police said the arrests were made during a continued campaign against drug pushers and other criminals. Teams of different police stations conducted raids within their jurisdiction, arrested eight accused and seized 1.65kg of hashish, 240 litres of liquor, two pistols, two guns and a rifle from them. A proclaimed offender was also arrested with weapons.
