Girls shine in K-P matric exams

As many as 73,833 students passed matriculation

Girls once again bested boys in the annual matriculation exams of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P).

Results for the secondary school certification (SSC) annual examinations 2020 were published by the eight regional education boards of K-P) Provincial Education Minister Akbar Ayub on Wednesday formally announced the results during a special ceremony at the offices of the Board of Intermediate and Higher Secondary School in Peshawar.

According to the controller examination, as many as 73,833 students passed. This includes 29,000 students from government schools and 35,000 students from private schools.

The board said that all results have been published online and no result book has been printed this year owing to the coronavirus.

Results for higher secondary school certificate exams will be made public on July 28.
