FIA nabbs four involved in cybercrime

Five cellphones recovered which contained all the data including receipt of banking transactions

MULTAN:

Cyber Crime Wing of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Tuesday arrested four suspects involved in financial fraud during two raids. On the direction of FIA Cyber Crime Wing Director, a team of FIA led by Cyber Crime Cell incharge Multan Hassan Jalel raided in Vehari at Chak 158WB and Athara Hazari Jhang. The team arrested four persons involved in financial fraud under a fake scheme of “Kon Banay Ga Crore Pati (Who wants to be a millionaire)”. The outlaws were identified as Muhammad Kashmiri, Muhammad Sajjad, Muhammad Imran and Muhammad Ashraf. The raiding team recovered five android cellphones which contained all the data including receipt of banking transactions performed in neighbouring countries that were used to fleece people. One car, two cheque books, three cash deposit slips of Rs1.7 million of a private bank, one CPU, SIMs of different companies and cash were recovered from the accused.
