RAWALPINDI:

As the prevailing weather is suitable for the spawning of the larvae of mosquitoes that cause spread of dengue virus, Deputy Commissioner Anwarul Haq has asked the people to remove stagnant water from their premises. During his visit to areas including Khurram Colony and Al Noor Colony on Monday, the DC directed the health officials that surveillance activities for tracing of larvae and its eradication be expedited so that Aedes aegypti mosquitoes that cause dengue fever could not grow.

On the occasion, the DC also interacted with the public and inquired about the performance of field teams.
