Valuables gutted in house fire

Valuables worth thousands of rupees were gutted in a fire reported in a house located near Ravi Road on Monday. The minor fire spread quickly and consumed several valuables owned by the family. Neighbours and nearby people tried to control it and on failing to do so, called rescue teams. Firefighters reached the location after receiving the call and extinguished the fire. No loss of life or injury was reported in the incident.
