Valuables gutted in plaza

Valuables worth thousands of rupees were gutted after a fire broke out in a plaza on Jail Road. The fire broke out in the plaza reportedly due to electric short circuit. As the fire started spreading quickly, people present nearby tried to control it themselves On failure, they called Rescue 1122 teams. Firefighters of the emergency service reached the spot on information and extinguished the fire. No loss of life or injury was reported in the incident.
