Fallen high-tension wire kills woman

KARACHI:

A woman was electrocuted to death when she accidentally touched a fallen high tension wire in Shashak village of the Kaccho region on Sunday. The deceased was identified as Amna. The body was shifted to Juhi Taluka Hospital for medico-legal formalities and later handed over to the family. The villagers claimed the high tension wire had broken during the recent rainfall, accusing power utility officials for the negligence. They demanded the government pay compensation for Amna’s death.
