Anti-polio drive to resume on July 20
PMA president says doctors, paramedics and the public should cooperate fully with polio immunisation teams
QUETTA:
Welcoming the resumption of the polio campaign from July 20, newly elected Pakistan Medical Association’s (PMA) Balochistan chapter President Dr Aftab Kakar said that doctors, paramedics and the public should cooperate fully with polio immunisation teams so that children can be saved from being disabled for life. He added that due to the spread of coronavirus across the country, the campaign to vaccinate children against polio was temporarily suspended.
