3,227 rescuers to be regularised

The regularisation of the second batch comprising over 3,227 Rescue 1122 staff is in the final stage and its regularisation notification shall be issued soon as per Punjab Regularisation of Service Act 2018. This was stated by Punjab Emergency Service (PES) Director General Dr Rizwan Naseer. The Head of HR Wing, Dr Foaad Shahzad Mirza appraised the Rescue 1122 DG that a total of 5,609 rescuers and 195 rescue officers working on contractual basis were regularised in 2010, he said. Naseer further said that this step would be true recognition of a good hard-working rescue staff presently working on contractual basis across Punjab. He expressed these views while presiding over a high-level meeting held at Rescue 1122 Headquarters on Friday which was attended by all heads of the wing of PES and Emergency Services Academy.
