Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar said the funds for South Punjab will not be utilised for any other purpose and this money will be spent on public welfare.
He expressed these views in a meeting with the citizens and assembly members at Circuit House DG Khan on Friday where he also listened to the citizens’ problems.
He maintained that he will visit every city to help solve the problems of public.
Buzdar reiterated that engaging with the common man helps to understand the ground realities and stated that he has been in constant contact with the people.

“The government has continued the journey of public service with commitment and hard work while the conspirators will be again foiled in future,” he said. They cannot hinder the journey of development, he continued. “I belong to the people and, even, my life is available for service to humanity,” he asserted.
The CM regretted that exhibitory projects were inaugurated in the past by previous rulers but the incumbent government has put an end to this wrong practice.
He explained that the development of South Punjab had been badly ignored in the past. “The Pakistan Tehreek-e- Insaf (PTI)-led government has given rights to South Punjab for the first time.”
