Coronavirus safety kits were distributed among children and teachers by Deputy Commissioner Amir Khattak at a private school during a ceremony held on Wednesday.

Addressing the ceremony organised for awareness among students and teachers regarding novel coronavirus safety guidelines, the DC said the best strategies are being enforced in the country to contain the virus and they had been showing positive results.

However, he added, active cooperation of the people in following the SOPs can help the country overcome the epidemic earlier. Khattak said that strict adherence to SOPs was the only way to fight the virus. He maintained that rapid response teams in Multan had conducted tests of thousands of people at their doorstep. He further stated that around 6,500 people were kept in quarantine in Multan.
