Women booked for beating traffic cop

The video of the incident went viral

RAWALPINDI:

The police on Tuesday registered a case against three women and their driver for allegedly beating a traffic warden on the Murree Road. Traffic warden Asad Zaib had stopped a vehicle on the key artery of the city to avoid disruption in traffic near Liaquat Bagh. However, the driver of the vehicle stepped down and started quarrelling with the warden. Three passengers in the car also disembarked and started beating the victim with their slippers. Zaib, however, ignored the women and went straight to the City police station along with his colleague on his motorcycle and lodged a complaint The video of the incident, which later went viral, showed the suspects beating the warden but he kept calm and did not react physically. The police officials said that the women hailed from Attock and the police teams have been sent arrest them.
