Covid-19 claims 13 more lives

At least 63,977 patients have recovered all together in the Punjab

Covid-19 claimed 13 more lives in Punjab, while the number of coronavirus cases in the province exceeded 87,490 after registration of 449 new patients on Tuesday. According to the Punjab Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department spokesperson, the total number of deaths caused by the disease in the province crossed 2,025. As many as 220 new cases of Covid-19 were reported in Lahore, 10 in Nankana Sahib, two in Kasur, two in Sheikhupura, 56 in Rawalpindi, two in Attock, one in Chakwal, four in Jhelum, 14 in Gujranwala, three in Sialkot, 27 in Gujrat, two in Hafizabad, three in Mandi Bahauddin, one in Khanewal, nine in Vehari, 19 in Faisalabad and one each in Chiniot, Jhang, Chakwal and Khanewal. Moreover, four cases were reported in Toba Tek Singh, three in Rahim Yar Khan, nine in Sargodha, seven in Mianwali, two in Khushab, five in Bahawalnagar, six in Bahawalpur, three in Lodhran, 11 in Dera Ghazi Khan, 11 in Muzaffargarh, one in Sahiwal, one in Okara and nine new cases of Covid-19 in Pakpattan district during the last 24 hours. The Punjab Health Department has conducted more than 604,340 tests for Covid-19 so far, while at least 63,977 patients have recovered all together in the province.
